Jeffery Erdman from the Interventions and Services Committee will be the primary presenter of the webinar and will provide an overview of the High Impact Prevention approach, as well as provide an overview description of the prevention interventions and strategies recommended by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Interventions and Services Committee for 2016, delineating which are CDC-supported and unsupported, and which are appropriate for specific target populations.
It is recommended that all voting members of the Illinois HIV Planning Group (ILHPG) participate in this webinar. It does count toward meeting attendance requirements. The webinar is open to anyone. IDPH staff, agency liaisons to the ILHPG, and prevention provider agencies are also strongly encouraged to participate. Please forward this notice to anyone you think may be interested in participating. If you are not able to attend on the 21st, the webinar will be recorded and maintained on the www.ilhpg.org website after the broadcast date.
