The Color of Vaccine documentary helps raise awareness and accessibility around the COVID-19 vaccine and creates a spirit of community action while providing opportunities for the Illinois creative community. The Color of Vaccine: Part I is made possible by Arts Alliance Illinois. The exploration within The Color of Vaccine: Part I bring stories as old as time and often hidden underneath trauma in people of color communities and addresses medical mistrust, health inequality. In contrast, it brings awareness to the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
