The Midwest LGBTQ Health Symposium, September 14-15, schedule is posted.  This year’s theme, “Moving Toward Health Equity. Strengthening our Community of Care,” will examine best practices in LGBTQ clinical care as well as structural approaches to advancing health equity. Due to popular demand, this year’s conference offers two full days of sessions, including plenary speakers, Dustin Duncan, ScD, NYU School of Medicine, Jessica Halem, MBA, Harvard Medical School, as well as two plenary panels focused on critical topics in transgender health and LGBTQ anti-violence work.

The conference sessions are organized into six tracks according to attendee experience level and themes in LGBTQ health. Attendees may participate in any of the tracks over the two day conference. For additional details, check out the Midwest LGBTQ Health Symposium website. Registration is limited!

We are pleased to share this year’s conference with healthcare professionals committed to advancing health equity.
