This 1-day course will prepare local health department staff to use HIV surveillance data to identify HIV-diagnosed individuals not in care, link them to care, and offer assistance with notifying their sex and/or needle-sharing partners of their potential exposure. This course is recommended for any health department employee who may be reaching out to HIV positive clients discovered through surveillance activities.
