Getting to Zero Illinois Initiative – Housing Webinar on Sept. 15th at 12pm – 1:30pm

Housing is a basic human right. It is widely accepted that access to housing impacts the well-being of individuals and families. With this in mind, we have great news to share on HIV-dedicated housing within Illinois!

Participation in this webinar will provide a summary of the Getting to Zero Illinois (GTZ-IL) Housing Committee’s 2022 Inventory for HIV-Dedicated Housing Units for Illinois Remainder of State and progress made towards GTZ-IL Goal 9, which is to increase access to housing and supportive services. This will be followed by a panel discussion to explore the impact of the inventory with GTZ-IL Housing Committee members. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions. We are interested in reviewing a housing inventory outside of the Chicago metropolitan region.

Moderator – Christian F. Castro, Getting to Zero Illinois (GTZ-IL)

Presenter – Art Bendixen, HIV Housing Advocate

There is a specific goal within the GTZ-IL plan regarding housing, with the intent of growing the number of housing units and supportive services for people living with HIV in Illinois to meet the need. Register in advance for this webinar:
