Are we facing extraordinary, unprecedented obstacles in our HIV work? Yes.

Are challenges at both federal and state levels seemingly insurmountable? Yes.

Are we getting an “A” in PrEP implementation? Not yet.

Can we do anything about these circumstances? Yes We Can

Please join the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, AIDS Foundation of Chicago, for a morning of conversation to help us chart the path forward in these deeply troubling times. We’ll tackle a number of questions, including:

· “What does the federal and state health care landscape look like, and what can we do to defend, protect, and improve the situation?”

· “What’s the latest news on the state budget impasse, and how can we engage with our communities and leaders about it in meaningful ways?”

· “What can we do to advocate for the health and wellness of our communities?”

· “How can we improve our efforts on PrEP implementation in vulnerable communities including gay men of color, transgender individuals and cisgender women?”

Share your expertise and your passion. Bring your questions. Help strategize our collective approaches, from grass roots advocacy to story-telling, phone calling, and Lobby Days.

Amplify – we’re in this together.
