Please join the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) for our first webinar in the 2023 Hepatitis B Webinar series, “Hepatitis B Online,” on February 9, 2023 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Hepatitis B Online is a free educational website from the University of Washington Infectious Diseases Education & Assessment (IDEA) program.  The website addresses the diagnosis, monitoring, management, and prevention of Hepatitis B.

Our presenter for this webinar is Dr. Maria Corcorran.  She is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. She is the medical director of Aurora Clinic, a low-barrier clinic focusing on HIV prevention for people living homeless, and she also attends at Harborview Medical Center’s HIV and viral hepatitis clinics. She serves as Associate Editor of the University of Washington’s Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Online learning curricula, and her research interests focus on novel strategies for expanding low-barrier care and services to people who inject drugs.

Dr. Corcorran will discuss the Hepatitis B Online website, as well as resources for Hepatitis C and other viral diseases, during this webinar so Illinois Hepatitis and HIV providers are encouraged to attend this free event!
