Two-day meeting is open to the public, in person and via webinar
The next meeting of the Illinois HIV Integrated Planning Council (IHIPC) will be a two-day in-person meeting held on June 28, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and June 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation (MCLI), Auditorium 1A, 228 West Miller St., Springfield, Ill.
The meeting is open to the public. Here are the agendas for June 28 and June 29. Please know that if you are not able to attend the meeting in-person, you are still able to participate remotely by webinar. We will also be recording the meeting so you will be able to view it on our website at a later date. You must register in advance to participate in the live meetings. Below are the registration links for each meeting day:
Free parking is available at the MCLI parking garage, which is located east and adjacent to the MCLI on the corner of Klein and Carpenter Streets. MCLI is accessible by an outdoor pathway. There is also a walkway directly from the garage to the second floor of the MCLI. When you check in at the sign-in table in the first floor lobby, the receptionist can direct you to the location of the meeting.
An agreement has been established at the Wyndham Springfield City Center Hotel, 700 East Adams St., Springfield, Ill., (217) 789-1530, for a block of rooms at the state rate of $70, plus taxes, only for the night of June 28 for people attending and needing lodging. There is also a $10 charge for overnight parking, if needed, and an added charge of $15 for each additional guest in the room. The cutoff date for the room block is June 6. You are responsible for making your own reservations, either by calling the hotel directly and identifying the “IL HIV Integrated Planning Council” room block or by going to the online registration link.
Once you register, you will receive login information and other instructions. The webinar slides and other meeting documents will be posted here prior to the meeting.
