MAP Continues to Assist with Medication Concerns During COVID-19 Response

An updated policy clarification notice (PCN) from the Illinois Ryan White Part B Program has two sections. The first section addresses newly added protocol the program has adopted for the ongoing COVID-19 response as of August 27, 2020. The second section contains previous protocol issued on April 1, 2020, at the onset of the pandemic.

The program’s staff thanks you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. As always, you can monitor iladap.providecm.net for updates or log into Provide Enterprise and review system alerts.

In addition, the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Medication Assistance Program (MAP) is currently assisting with Illinois’ COVID-19 response via email. If you have immediate needs that normally would be answered by calling the ADAP Hotline, please direct those questions to DPH.ProvideHelp@illinois.gov. Program representatives are monitoring this email box daily and will respond to all inquiries as soon as reasonably feasible. Please be patient, as it may take longer than usual to get back to you.

Many IDPH team members have been deployed to provide support to these efforts. MAP has maintained a core team to ensure that day-to-day operations continue. Most of our team is teleworking, so email is more easily received than telephone calls.

Be mindful that email is not secure mode of transmitting confidential information; hence the program encourages not using names, dates of birth, or social security numbers. Individuals should only share the unique Ryan White ID number.

Refer to iladap.providecm.net website for future updates on when the ADAP Hotline will be reactivated. Also, this website can be used to track the progress of an individual’s eligibility assessment approval process by entering the application ID.
