The Illinois Public Health Association is pleased to announce a free Popular Opinion Leader (POL) facilitator training to be held in Belleville on November 29, 2016. The training will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Bethany Place, 821 West A Street, Belleville.
Popular Opinion Leader (POL) is a community-level HIV prevention intervention that is CDC-supported for Men who have Sex with Men (MSM). It is designed to identify, enlist and train opinion leaders to encourage safer sexual norms and behaviors within their social networks of friends and acquaintances through risk reduction conversations.
