Risk reduction counseling is a public health strategy employing client-centered counseling techniques to help persons at risk for HIV infection or transmission identify their personal risk behaviors and develop and implement plans for reducing or eliminating those risks. This training will help counselors further develop the skills necessary to provide clients with effective client-centered risk reduction counseling.
