Join us June 26 , 2024, as we convene the Cook County Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE), Getting to Zero – Illinois (GTZ-IL), and Fast-Track Cities (FTC) stakeholders to review progress and examine barriers to and opportunities for accelerated efforts to end the HIV epidemic in Chicago and Illinois. This workshop will serve as the launch of the Getting to Zero Illinois (GTZ-IL) Plan 2.0 – the next phase of our roadmap to ending the HIV epidemic in Illinois and serve as part of the 2024 Intra-Jurisdictional EHE-FTC Alignment Workshop series. The workshop will feature interactive sessions, including:

• Improving the HIV Care and Treatment Continuum

• Scaling Up PrEP and Access and Utilization (Equitably)

• Optimizing Social Determinants to Achieve U=U

• Implementing HIV Status Neutrality in Practice

• Eliminating Disparities in HIV Health Outcomes

• Reducing Stigma in Clinical and Community Settings

• Addressing Criminalization as a Barrier to Ending HIV

The workshop is being coordinated by IAPAC and the Fast-Track Cities Institute with input from Illinois stakeholders. It is one of a series of workshops across the United States supported through a grant from ViiV Healthcare, which had no influence over the program content or speaker selection.

We are one year from the deadline to reach the EHE’s goal of reducing the number of new HIV infections in the United States by 75 percent by 2025. Join us on June 26, 2024, for a timely discussion about progress achieved and the work left to advance to ensure no one is left behind in the Chicago and GTZ-IL’s HIV response.
