Registration is open for IDPH HIV Navigation Services and Motivational Interviewing on June 21-23. The link to register for this class is below.
This class is presented via Zoom over 3 days and you MUST be present for all sessions. Our classes are generally 9AM – NOON and 1PM – 4PM. If you cannot attend all sessions, please do not register for this class. Also, please discuss this training with your supervisor before registering. Each agency is allowed to have only 2 employees in a training class.
You must have a working camera on your computer and a microphone. If you want to test your system before the class, please reach out to me and I can schedule a Zoom meeting with you. It is best to have a private area to attend the training because you will be placed in breakout rooms and background noise will be distracting to others in the class.
Once registered, you should receive an email from MATEC with the link to the Zoom class. DO NOT SHARE THIS LINK WITH COWORKERS. If you do not receive a Zoom link, it means the class is full and you have been placed on the waitlist. If we have a cancellation or NO SHOW, we will reach out to the waitlisted participants to see if you are able to attend.
Once you have completed the class, you will receive a certificate.
Since this is a virtual training space, please be respectful of your camera view. No vaping or smoking and please dress professionally. Also discourage others in the room from coming into the camera frame because it is distracting to the class.
