Location/timing: The training will be held at the University Center, 525 South State Street, conveniently located near multiple train/bus lines with plenty of adjacent parking . A continental breakfast will be provided at 8:30am, with the training starting promptly at 9:00am and concluding at 1:15pm.

 

Description: A collaboration between AIDS Foundation of Chicago, the Chicago Department of Public Health, and the Midwest AIDS and Education Training Center, the Project RSP training for 2019 is designed for anyone in the HIV workforce. It has been completely revamped and updated from previous years. Content will include the latest science, advocacy, policy and program news related to PrEP and U=U (Undetectable =Untransmittable) and timely information on current and next steps regarding our state’s Getting to Zero effort. The training features multiple presenters, is fast-paced and discussion-centered, and includes small group work. Continuing education credit for nurses and social workers will be provided by UI Health.

 

Cancellation-No Show Policy: We need your cooperation. No shows (absent without cancelling) put a strain on our resources. Should you need to cancel please notify Lonnie Kenebrew at MATEC lonniek@uic.edu no later than four working days prior to the program date. You will receive an invoice for $40.00 should you fail to cancel your registration and not attend the program.
