The Illinois HIV Integrated Planning Council (IHIPC) is accepting applications for voting membership at Twenty-seven new members, with terms to begin Jan. 1, 2018, will be selected. The council wishes for the new members to include people living with HIV, representatives of populations with a high prevalence of HIV, and service providers and key stakeholders representing HIV care and prevention, as well as related areas such as corrections, housing, sexually transmitted diseases, viral hepatitis, substance abuse, transgender, and youth. The council also wishes for new members to represent every region in the state, Ryan White programs, and community-based organizations directly funded for HIV prevention services by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.      

Through its integrated planning processes and activities, the IHIPC will help inform the development and update of the state’s Integrated Plan for HIV Prevention and Care. Before applying, please read the entire introductory page that summarizes the expectations and responsibilities of IHIPC membership and provides complete instructions on submission of applications.
